Seth Samuel is a comopser and sound designer.
He is the original score composer for PBS and KQED's video series, Deep Look; the sound designer and composer for KQED's podcast The Leap, and KALW's podcast The Specialist; and the sound engineer for the Neda Nobari Foundation's podcast, West of Middle East, and Mother Jones' podcast, Bite.
From 2010-2015, Seth produced and mixed KALW's multi-award-winning daily news-magazine, Crosscurrents in San Francisco and countless documentaries and features for KALW. From 2011-2014, he produced KALW's VoiceBox, a weekly public radio and podcast series dedicated to exploring the human voice. From 2009-2010 he composed original scores for nearly 100 of Richard Kostelanetz's Video Fictions and Video Poetry.
He has a bachelor's degree in music composition from Oberlin Conservatory and a master's degree in music composition for film and multimedia from NYU.
He lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his brilliant wife, his infant son, his cat, and his dog.
