Seth Greene Samuel is a Pulitzer Prize finalist, a Peabody Award winner, and a seven-time Emmy Award-winning composer and sound designer.
He is the original score composer for PBS and KQED's video series Deep Look and podcast Against The Rules With Michael Lewis; and the sound designer for NBC News podcast Southlake, Al Jazeera podcast The Take, KQED podcast The Leap, independent podcast The Specialist, the Neda Nobari Foundation podcast West of Middle East, The MindShift Podcast from KQED, independent podcast The Stoop, and Mother Jones podcast Bite.
From 2010-2015, Seth produced and mixed KALW's multi-award-winning daily news-magazine, Crosscurrents and countless (hundreds?) of features, interviews, and documentaries for KALW.
From 2011-2014, he produced KALW's VoiceBox, a weekly public radio and podcast series dedicated to exploring the human voice. From 2009-2010 he composed original scores for nearly 100 of Richard Kostelanetz's Video Fiction and Video Poetry.
He has a bachelor's degree in music composition from Oberlin Conservatory and a master's degree in music composition for film and multimedia from NYU.
He lives in Denver, Colorado with his brilliant wife, his son, and his dog.
